Yes, very sad. I have fond memories of a tape I once had with him and his son Bradford playing. The word that occurred to me was mellifluous, for both of them.

D1 used to have pet rats. She swore they were as smart as a dog. Great pets, but they only live 2-3 years. Oh, and they like to chew stuff - that's a problem.
